Boffer games have traditionally been build-your-own character campaign games. Theater games have been traditionally pre-generated character one-shots. Over the last few years we have had several successful boffer one-shots at intercon, as evidenced by increasing numbers of players crossing over. This is a panel and discussion from NELCO 2014 that addresses questions such as: What has made those recent intercon games successful? What kind of changes need to be made for having theater-style LARPers in a boffer campaign? How can we get the best of both worlds? — This is part 2 of 10 for the NELCO 2014 Panels & Presentations series.
